Lenovo new Yoga 710, Yoga 510 and Ideapad MIIX 310 laptop unveiled in MWC 2016

The Lenovo Yoga 710

Lenovo is making a fancy entrance at the MWC 2016 by showcasing 9 brand new devices, which includes new smartphones, tablets and laptops altogether. In this section we will take a look their latest notebooks  - The Lenovo Yoga 710 (11-inch and 14-inch model), Lenovo Yoga 510 (14-inch and 15-inch model), and the Ideapad MIIX 310.

First up, according the BGR.com, the bigger Yoga 710 has a 20% increase in WiFi connection during tablet mode because of where the antenna resides. The smaller Yoga 710 doesn't get the same privilege of having the same WiFI amplifying feature like its brother though, it was designed to compete with Apple Macbooks, the measurement in just 14.9,mm thin and weighs 2.35 pounds (around 1kg). Tech specs-wise, the fullmetal unibody features a Full HD touchscreen display, up to a sixth-generation Intel chip, powered by 8GB RAM and has 256GB of storage. There's no USB Type-C port, but it does have one USB 3.0 and one micro-HDMI port. Both the 14-inch and 11-inch cost $799 (around RM3360) and $499 (around RM2099) respectively.

Next, the Yoga 510 have something special. Not only it features a new “diamond cut palm rest” but it can charge quickly too in just 2.5 hours and offers 8.5 hours of battery life. The 14-inch will cost $599 (around RM2519) and $699 (around RM2940) for the 15-inch. This 510 version is the lower end class, and sports Core i7 processors, and optional AMD Radeon R7 M460 2GB GPUs. Battery life can last 8.5 hours.

Lastly, the Ideapad MIIX 310 is a 10-inch detachable laptop with a special  hinge that lets you adjust the angle while in laptop mode. While it is tiny as compared to other laptops, don't let the size fool you and it can last 10 hours long of battery life. It runs on antel Atom X5 8300 CPU, Windows 10 (Home version), 128GB memory, 2GB RAM, and a Full HD display option with 1920 x 1080 resolution is available. It even has an option of 4G LTE connection and cost $229 (around RM963) only.
