
Recently, Lenovo unveiled its latest education technology solutions during the Future of Education Technology Conference (FETC) 2025 and Bett 2025. The refreshed Lenovo Education portfolio includes laptops running on Windows 11 or ChromeOS, built to support students and teachers in next-level digital learning.
The comprehensive line-up of compute devices and accessories includes the two main highlight devices that we will be taking a look at today, which are the Chromebook Plus 2-in-1 (14-inch, 10) and the 13w 2-in-1 Gen 3. The Chromebook Plus 2-in-1 is powered by Intel Core processors (Core 5, Core 5/Core 7 SIPP optional) and Google AI with access to Gemini.

Weighing at 1.5kg and measuring 17.5mm thin, this device has a 14-inch WUXGA (1920x1200) IPS FHD touch display with 300 nit brightness and a 16:10 screen-to-body ratio, backed up by up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB SSD storage. It also has an array of ports (2x USB-C, 2x USB-A, and 1x HDMI), Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, and has up to 11 hours of battery life.
On the other hand, the 13w 2-in-1 Gen 3 is powered by up to Intel Core 5 processors, an enhanced UX, a 400 nit display and 3M’s DBEF5 solution, Lenovo Pencil Touch technology, and AI-enabled audio. This laptop was built with Mil-spec 810H and is repairable if customers opt for a model with 10 easy-to-replace components. Additionally, it also has a webcam privacy shutter, an optional fingerprint reader, a self-healing BIOS, and Secure Wipe.

Besides the Lenovo Chromebook Plus 2-in-1 and 13w 2-in-1 Gen 3 PCs, the company also unveiled other products. This includes a Lenovo Smart Charger, Lenovo Device Intelligence for Education, as well as the Lenovo 500w, 300w, and 100w Gen 5 PCs. All local specs and pricing will be announced at a later date.
