We can expect to see a lot of new products during next week's virtual CES 2021. But before that happens, brands like to throw out teasers and for Lenovo, it's three new laptops for its IdeaPad series. Specifically, they are the IdeaPad 5G, IdeaPad 5 Pro, and IdeaPad 5i Pro.
As you probably guessed from the name, the IdeaPad 5G is not like regular laptops. This is Lenovo's first Windows 10 on ARM model that features the Snapdragon 8cx chipset, which is paired with the Adreno 680 GPU and Snapdragon X55 5G modem (sub-6GHz band). It also has a 14-inch screen (1080p, 100% sRGB), up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and up to 512GB of SSD storage.

Lenovo also announced the IdeaPad 5 Pro and 5i Pro, which are two different versions of the same laptop. As usual, the 'i' version would come with 11th Gen Intel Core CPUs, while the other version will use AMD's latest Ryzen 5000 mobile CPUs. On top of that, all variants would have the Nvidia GeForce MX450 GPU, as well as a display of up to 120Hz refresh rate, up to 16GB of DDR4 RAM, and up to 1TB of SSD storage.
I find the IdeaPad 5G the most interesting of the bunch, especially if the local price is right. 5G might not be widespread in Malaysia, but you should still be able to fit a 4G SIM card in it and use this laptop without needing to hunt for hotspots.
