As per tradition, Lenovo took the stage at IFA 2019 and unveiled a wide array of new smart products. From laptops to home appliances, as well as AR and mobile devices under the theme Smarter Technology for All, here's everything that they have showcased in Germany.

Smarter Yoga PCs

Starting with their signature Yoga PCs, Lenovo introduced a new 14-inch Yoga C940 and Yoga S740 laptop sporting new features such as Super Resolution that can upscale videos up to FHD 1080p in Windows Media Play, and a Q-Control to boost the PC's battery life with its AI-enhanced Intelligent Cooling Mode.

To add on, the new Yoga laptops have Amazon Alexa voice service now and only selected markets will have this. They presented that the AI can support Lock Screen, Multi-Language and has a Smart Home Visual for selected Yoga devices. We don't think we will be seeing any Alexa integrated into any Yoga devices for Malaysia, as it's not that popular.

Besides the aforementioned Yoga C940 and Yoga S740, the variant - Yoga C640 was also introduced which packs the latest 10th Gen Intel Core processor, same as the Yoga C940 (the latter uses a 9th Gen Intel Core processor). Speaking of laptops, the company expanded its ThinkBook portfolio with the new ThinkBook 14 and 15 model

Monitors

In relation to laptops, Lenovo also announced two new monitors - the Lenovo Q27q Monitor and Q24i Monitor with integrated multi-media audio via 2 x 3W speakers, Radeon FreeSync technology, TÜV Rhineland Eye Comfort and more.

If you plan to have a monitor for business usage, Lenovo got it covered for you with the ThinkVision S28u-10 monitor that has a flexible VESA Mount arm/stand saves valuable desk surface space, 4K UHD IPS panel and TÜV Rhineland Eye Comfort as well.

Smart Home

Moving on, Lenovo added more smart home convenience with the Yoga Smart Tab and Smart Tab M8. These devices serve as an entertainment and media tablets integrated with Google Assistant. In addition, the Smart Display 7 with Google Assistant has been redesigned for a minimal footprint to fit anywhere comfortably at home.

MARVEL Dimension of Heroes for Lenovo Mirage AR

Lenovo is adding more contents for its Mirage AR as well with a brand new MARVEL Dimension of Heroes. The game will allow players to play six legendary Marvel Super Heroes in an original story which sees them take on infamous Super-Villains standing right before them in their own living rooms.

Players can download the game app for free (Apple App and Google Play Store) that is compatible with Mirage AR headset and a new pair of Universal Controllers. The Mirage AR headset is available for the US market now for $249.99 (~RM1044).

Smart Services

For services, Lenovo will expand its Premium Care to 25 news markets exclusively for PC consumers on software and hardware troubleshooting. Customers can call, email, or chat around the clock for technicians who can help on-the-go.

Lenovo plans to expand the service to 36 total geographic markets by the end of 2019, this includes Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Spain, Portugal, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Israel, Czech Republic, and Slovakia.
