A few weeks ago, we posted a photo of Linus Sebastian visiting Plaza Low Yat, which garnered a lot of attention. He recently posted a video on his YouTube channel, "Malaysia's Biggest Tech Mall has EVERYTHING (Even 5090s)", and mentioned almost getting ripped off by one of the stores.

Linus was in Malaysia for a vacation and decided to find an HDMI cable and a secure micro HDMI adapter so that he could play his ROG Ally in his hotel room. While exploring, he mentioned that a store was charging him around RM175 ($40) for the cables he was looking for. He didn't say which store, but we have a good guess based on the video.

Linus eventually found one micro HDMI adapter that cost only RM18, so that pretty much sealed the deal. While he was at it, he was also amazed at the tech stocks that Plaza Low Yat has, such as the NVIDIA RTX 50 Series, just sitting on the shelves. Overall, he was happy with his shopping and impressed with everything the mall has to offer.

To the uninitiated, Linus is one of the most popular Tech YouTubers in the US. His YouTube channel, Linus Tech Tips has 16.3 million subscribers, and well known for mostly sharing his opinions about PCs and graphics cards. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
