Listing confirms Samsung Galaxy A33 5G will come with Exynos 1200 SoC

After launching its flagship series, Samsung could soon introduce a new generation of mid-range devices. Rumour has it, Galaxy A33 5G will be the first one in line, considering the phone has had many leaks appearing on the internet the past few months. Today, a new one arrives by claiming that the device will feature the company's Exynos 1200 SoC.

The part number Samsung s5e8825, which refers to the Exynos 1200 chip, has appeared in the Galaxy A33 5G's Google Play Console listing. This chipset has two ARM Cortex-A78 CPU cores operating at 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz. For graphics performance, it has the ARM Mali G68 MP4 GPU clocked at 1GHz. It's said that Samsung will offer the device with 6GB RAM, but there's a chance it will come with other options as well.

Previous rumours suggested that the device could sport a 6.4-inch AMOLED display, quad rear cameras, and a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. It might also run One UI 4 based on Android 12. Furthermore, the source mentions that the device is possibly launching next month with Galaxy A53 5G, followed by Galaxy A23 in April and Galaxy A73 5G in May.
