The leaks and rumours continue to appear in the run-up to MWC 2020 and one that was just revealed was for Huawei. An image of a smartphone that was claimed to be the P40 Pro recently appeared on Weibo and it shows someone holding the device, with the screen turned on.

From the image, we can see that the P40 Pro has two cameras on the front set behind a rather large pill-shaped cutout. In addition, it has barely any bezels even at the bottom, giving it a very high screen-to-body ratio. This design mostly fits what we've seen previously, which suggests that the rear-camera setup could also be as depicted before. Specifically, it's expected to come with a quad-camera setup that includes a telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom and a Time of Flight lens.

We're unsure if this image is actually real, considering that there doesn't seem to be any visible buttons. However, there are devices that sport similar curved sides and buttons that are hard to see, so it's possible that the angle of the image made it hard to spot them. Still, it's reasonable if you're sceptical about the validity of the image.

Assuming this is really how it looks like, the P40 Pro is shaping up to be a pretty good looking device so far. The pill-shaped cutout kind of takes away from the aesthetics but that's just our opinion. What do you think of the phone's design?
