Previously, we mentioned that Apple took down the GBA emulator. Today, a new classic game simulator has arrived on the App Store. That said, what should you know about it?
For your information, Delta Game Simulator is now officially available on the Apple App Store, released by developer Riley Testut. Testut was the developer of the popular GBA4iOS open-source simulator more than ten years ago. Although GBA4iOS was short-lived, it laid the foundation for Delta.
In addition, Delta has been available for installation by jailbroken users before, but now it has finally been officially recognized by Apple and officially listed on the App Store. It also provides special features such as custom controller skin, fast forward function, auxiliary keys (convenient for games that require continuous pressing of keys), tactile feedback support, and automatic matching of cover images based on imported games. Local multiplayer gaming is also a highlight, allowing up to four people to play classic games online at the same time.
In addition, the iGBA simulator that was highly similar to Testut’s original GBA4iOS was briefly put on the Apple App Store, and it once topped the paid list. However, after learning that iGBA was a plagiarized work, Apple removed it from the market. The app is currently available as a free download in the Apple App Store and does not contain any advertising or information collection practices.
However, it should be noted that Delta is currently only available in some regions such as the United States, and users in Europe need to obtain it through other app stores. We have yet to confirm other details on the subject. However, we could expect iOS users in Malaysia to appreciate the app if it is available in Malaysia. After all, you can’t beat the classics.
