If you're on the hunt for a new gaming laptop and prefer team red, here's some news for you. MSI has announced that its Alpha 15 gaming laptop is now available in Malaysia. It's one of the first in a new series of AMD Ryzen-powered devices.
Under the hood, the Alpha 15 packs some of AMD's latest technologies. Tech specs include a Ryzen 7 3750H CPU, Radeon RX RX5500M GPU, 16GB of DDR4 RAM, 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD, and a 15.6-inch IPS display with 144Hz refresh rate. To keep cool, the machine uses MSI's Cooler Boost 5 technology, which is essentially a 7-heatpipe cooling system. It also has reasonable dimensions and weight (2.3kg) for a 15-inch laptop.
As usual with MSI gaming laptops, you'll get a Steelseries-designed keyboard (full-size) with per-key RGB, which you can configure using the provided softare. It also features a quad-speaker system MSI calls Giant Speakers that is designed to give you more authentic sound detail, as well as AMD FidelityFX feature for you to enhance your games' visuals.
In conjunction with the Alpha 15's launch, MSI will also be offering a free copy of either Borderlands 3 or Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Breakpoint and a free mouse, courtesy of AMD. However, this promo is only valid till 31 December 2019 and while stocks last.
