MSI Bravo 17 Malaysia release - Ryzen 7000 series + RTX 40 series, starting price at RM4699

MSI Malaysia just recently launched a new Bravo series in the market. Dubbed the Bravo 17, it has the latest AMD Ryzen 7000 series CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series GPU, marking MSI's first combined NVIDIA GPU and AMD CPU in the lineup. 

The Bravo 17 features up to an AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS Processor, up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Laptop GPU 8GB GDDR6, 8GB of DDR5-4800MHz RAM, and 512GB NVMe PCIe SSD Gen 4 storage. With this hardware, the laptop is capable of running Ray Tracing performance thanks to the AI-powered DLSS 3 technology. To further boost the GPU performance, it also comes with a Mux Switch

A new Cooler Boost 5 cooling system has been integrated as well with a shared pipe design, which can enable real-time heat dissipation between the CPU and GPU at the same time. Additionally, the IPS display is 17.3 inches in FHD and supports a 144Hz refresh rate. It's also worth mentioning that audio speakers are impressive as well, as they are backed up by Nahimic 3 Audio Enhancer and HiRed audio ready. 

There are plenty of I/O ports too, including two USB 3.2 Type C Gen 1 ports and a HDM1 2.1 port that can support 8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz mode. Of course, you can find an ethernet port, alongside WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2 connectivity. The battery is 53.5Wh and uses a 200W power adapter.

The Bravo 17 comes in two variant models - the C7VE-024 and C7VF-023 which are priced at RM4699 and RM5199 respectively. Lastly, there's also a Bravo 15 C7VE 071 model that's exclusive at BrightStar physical store for RM4799 which isn't too much different. The latter uses a Ryzen 7 7735HS processor and RTX 4050 GPU.
