Remember the new MSI laptops announced at CES 2025? Well, Malaysian gamers won't have to wait long. Yesterday, MSI confirmed that the new RTX 50 series laptops are now available in Malaysia. Here's a quick summary of the models now available.
MSI Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Norse Myth
A high-end gaming laptop for the Titan series, the Titan 18 HX Dragon Edition Norse Myth has a design inspired by Norse mythology. It's also a limited-edition model that's individually handcrafted, which makes each unit special. This laptop is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 285HX processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 laptop GPU for incredible gaming performance, plus a large 18-inch 120Hz Mini LED display for stunning visuals.
By the way, there's also a standard version - the MSI Titan 18 HX AI. This model shares the same powerful hardware powering the Dragon Edition Norse Myth but doesn't have the special handcrafted design. The price for the standard edition starts from RM30999, while the limited edition's price starts from RM31999.
MSI Raider 18 HX AI
Next is MSI Raider 18 HX AI, which is available in two configurations. Where it differs is the GPU, as buyers can choose between the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5090 or RTX 5080 laptop GPUs. For the CPU, both versions have the option of picking the AMD Ryzen 9 9955HX3D processor. However, the RTX 5080 configuration also has the Intel Core Ultra 9 285HX processor as an option.
Both models feature the same 18-inch Mini LED display, which has a max resolution of 3840x2400, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. The price for the MSI Raider 18 HX AI starts from RM20999.
MSI Vector 16 HX AI
Last but not least is the MSI Vector 16 HX AI laptop. This laptop features an Intel Core Ultra 9 275HX processor and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 laptop GPU. It also has a slightly more modest 16-inch QHD+ (2560x1600) IPS display with a 160Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 colour gamut. Prices for this laptop start from RM14999.
And that's our quick summary of the new MSI gaming laptops in Malaysia. Note that most (if not all) of the laptops above have varying configurations, each resulting in a different final price. However, we're unable to list all of them because the exact details haven't been confirmed.
Additionally, MSI Malaysia is offering a pre-order deal, valid from now till 31 March 2025. RTX 5080-powered MSI laptops will get an RM150 rebate, while RTX 5090-powered laptops will get an RM300 rebate.
