CES 2024 is just around the corner and MSI just dropped a very intriguing teaser a few hours. In fact, we think MSI will debut its own PC gaming handheld console at the event next week.

The teaser can be seen on MSI's Instagram and Twitter X account with a caption saying "A whole new breed of MSI dragon is coming. Get a grip and stay tuned". Of course, the teaser doesn't reveal much except that we know the two thumbsticks will have RGB lighting like the ROG Ally. Moreover, it has a row of vents on the back with the MSI logo.

If we have to guess, this unknown MSI PC gaming handheld console is probably going to run on Windows 11 with its own MSI gaming centre platform to launch video games. Moreover, Intel replied to MSI's tweet with a thinking face emoji. It looks like an innocent gesture but this is hinting at an Intel-powered processor (possibly Meteor Lake) inside the device.

Should this be true, then this could be the first Intel PC Gaming Handheld device. As a refresher, both the ROG Ally and Lenovo Go are using an AMD Ryzen Z1 Extreme processor and perform fairly well, albeit draining the battery fast in the process. It is said that Intel Meteor Lake is "quite a bit less efficient at lower power limits" which is a good thing for handheld devices.
