First up, the legendary Nokia 8110 made a surprise return and just like the Nokia 3310 (2017) that was shown last year, the new Nokia 8110 4G now has 4G LTE connectivity capabilities. It can support e-mails and sync calendar, as well as supporting Facebook, Twitter, Google Assistant, Google Maps, Google Search, the classic Snake game and others. It even has VoLTE calling feature and can be a portable hotspot. It runs on Qualcomm 205 Mobile Platform and this legendary phone will make its debut from May 2018 onwards with a price of 79€ (~RM380).

Meanwhile, Nokia 1 was announced as the budget-friendly phone. How budget-friendly is it? Well, it's only $85 which is around RM333 and this will be Nokia's first Android Go Phone. Note that this is kind of different from Android One, as this is a really low-cost phone tailored to devices with 1GB of RAM or less. It sports a quad-core processor, 4G connectivity, dual SIM, a removable 2150mAh battery and Android Oreo (Go edition) for the best-optimised performance. Nokia 1 also includes light apps such as Google Go, Google Maps Go, YouTube Go and Google Assistant Go.

New Nokia 6

On the other hand, they did announce a new Nokia 6 and while there is already a Nokia 6 (2018), this is also slightly different because the Nokia 6 (2018) model was made for the China market and its tech-specs is not the same. There is a new 16MP ZEISS rear camera (and an 8MP front camera) for the phone and even a new Face Unlock feature that will be added in the second quarter of the year. Other than that, it was mentioned that it uses the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 630, 5.5-inch full HD IPS display, Bothie feature and 3000mAh battery which can charge up to 50% in just 30 minutes.

Nokia 7 plus

Then to the Nokia 7+, this mid-ranger uses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset, 4GB of RAM, a 6-inch 18:9 Full HD+ display (4K video available), and a pair of  12MP (wide-angle) + 13MP secondary camera with 2x optical zoom feature. The battery is a strong one too with 3800 mAh battery, said to be able to deliver a 2-day battery life. Nokia has also added in an artificial intelligence led imaging features and Pro Camera mode, to let you best utilize the camera at its best, as well as a front 16MP selfie snapper with Zeiss optics, of course.

Nokia 8 Sirocco

We also thought Nokia 9 would come out but turns out it was called the Nokia 8 Sirocco that has a Snapdragon 835 chipset, 6GB + 128GB, a 2K 5.5-inch curved edge display, IP67 water and dust resistance grade feature, Qi wireless charging, 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage. Like the Nokia 7+, it also harnesses the same front camera and dual rear camera setup and Pro Camera mode for full manual control.

The Nokia 1, New Nokia 6, Nokia 7+ and Nokia 8 Sirroco will be available around the world starting on April 2018. The following prices for the Nokia 6, 7+ and 8 Sirocco are 279€ (~RM1344), 399€ (~RM1922) and 749€ (~RM3608) respectively. Lastly, the Nokia 3 and 2 will be receiving an Oreo update soon this year via over-the-air.
