Now the first thing that everyone is quick to point out is obviously the new design look. Now with curved sides, the new Xperia XZ2 series are using 2.5D Gorilla Glass 5 and the new groove is called "Ambient Flow" by Sony. The Japanese tech giant believes the design will benefit how we hold the phones and we welcome this.

For the camera system, both phones have the same Sony perks such as the 5-axis stabilization, predictive hybrid phase detection, burst AF, IR sensor and of course, the always-ready dedicated hardware shutter button on the side. Also, now that it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, it's said to assist the new BIONZ image processor to have better colour results on an image. Both devices are also capable of recording a 4K HDR video, as well as upgrading its super slow-mo video in 1080p @ 960fps. We aren't sure how well it will work since the RAM power has not been upgraded.

Sony has also decided to take away the headphone jack, so to compensate that, they added a Dynamic Vibration system that can produce 20% louder and clear sounds from its predecessor, by balancing the music bass and enhance notification vibration which can be controlled. It's also noted that the 3D Creator feature is supported on both back and front cameras.

Sony Mobile is planning to release the Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact in late March or early April, there is no word on the price tags yet but do stay tuned for that as we will keep an eye out at TechNave.com.
