MWC 2025 is underway in Barcelona and many brands have already showcased their new products. TECNO is also there this year to showcase its latest devices and innovations. One such tech is the SpectraVision Camera, a proprietary multispectral camera.

The SpectraVision Camera promises greater colour reproduction to deliver true-to-life colour accuracy. According to TECNO, this 2MP camera is a real-time colour rendering sensor that can closely reproduce the colours we see with our human eyes. It uses a 9-channel spectral sensor and self-developed spectral colour algorithm to capture a broader light spectrum. The results are better than the standard 4-channel RGGB and RYYB solutions or single-point spectral sensors.

Besides that, the SpectraVision Camera uses the TECNO Imaging Matrix (TIM) technology, AI-powered software, and advanced clustering for greater precision in colour restoration, even in more complex lighting conditions. It also uses advanced spectral clustering tech and full-spectrum environmental analysis to fine-tune colour restoration across different sections of an image.

In particular, SpectraVision Camera excels at rendering natural skin tones. With the TECNO Universal Tone (UT) algorithm, the camera can accurately capture the different nuances in diverse human skin tones. This makes it better at snapping more natural portraits in various lighting conditions.
