MWC Shanghai 2024 highlights to look forward to

This year, MWC Shanghai 2024 is taking place from 26 June 2024 to 28 June 2024 at the Shanghai New International Expo Center (SNIEC). It promises to be bigger and better than ever, showcasing groundbreaking mobile innovations that are shaping the future of connectivity.

 

Experience the Future of Tech

Attendees can explore five halls packed with cutting-edge technologies. Hall N1 will host prominent companies such as China Unicom, Huawei, SGS China, Rohde & Schwarz, AMD, and STMicroelectronics. Visitors to SGS China's booth can explore intelligent automotive solutions and consumer electronics testing and certification capabilities.

MWC Shanghai 2024 will be held at Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), Entrance Hall #2 (North Registration Hall), 2345 Longyang Road, Pudong New Area, Shanghai, (located at Fangdian Road, near Huamu Road, beside Kerry Parkside)

Rohde & Schwarz will present its portfolio of 5G, 5G-Advanced, and 6G solutions while AMD will showcase its innovative telco platform for server and radio ecosystem partners, along with RAN application vendors. STMicroelectronics will feature over 30 demos of its semiconductor solutions, with applications in smart charging, edge AI, smart cameras, and air quality monitoring.

In Hall N2, attendees will find first-time exhibitor Xiaomi, alongside returning companies Lenovo and XReal. Xiaomi will present its "Human x Car x Home" smart ecosystem, connecting smartphones, tablets, smart TVs, wearables, home appliances, and electric vehicles. Lenovo's booth will demonstrate its AI portfolio, including solutions for consumer devices and enterprises. XReal will offer demos of its dual 50MP 3D camera and the XReal Beam Pro, a companion device for XReal's AR glasses.

Xiaomi will present its "Human x Car x Home" smart ecosystem in Hall N2

Hall N3 will feature familiar favorites in the Super Hall, including China Mobile, China Telecom, ZTE, and the GSMA Pavilion. The Connected Industries zone will debut in Hall N4, featuring influential investors, decision-makers, and thought leaders shaping the digital future. The Future Tech Hall will also occupy Hall N4, extending into Hall N5, where frontier technology companies will showcase their latest innovations, including electric vehicle pioneer NIO, which will present its vehicle-centric interconnection technology.

Don't miss the 5G IN exhibition in Hall N5, featuring innovative companies like AGILIC (Tianjin) Technologies Co., Ltd.; FZ-LLC; General Power Microelectronics Technology Limited; and many more. 5G IN, short for 5G Innovation and Investment Group, is a GSMA Foundry project that brings together key players in the mobile ecosystem to drive 5G innovation and collaboration.

The event will feature a series of GSMA Programmes, offering insights into the most pressing technology challenges, emerging standards, and the latest industry trends. Some program highlights include the 5G IoT Summit, exploring the growth and future of 5G Massive IoT, and the Satellite and Non-terrestrial Networks Summit, discussing the potential of satellite networks to revolutionize global connectivity.
