MWC Shanghai to celebrate 10th anniversary with showcases on AI, metaverse, 5G, and more

Previously cancelled in 2022, the Mobile World Congress Shanghai (MWC Shanghai) is set to return in 2023. This will also be the 10th time the event will be held at the Shanghai New International Exhibition Center (SNIEC) from 28 to 30 June 2023.

At this year's event, you can expect to see new products like smartphones, laptops, and gaming devices. There will also be exhibition halls showcasing new applications and solutions in 5G, artificial intelligence (AI), virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), Internet of Things (IoT), etc.

Speaking of exhibition halls, GSMA has announced that there will be all-new zones in MWC Shanghai 2023. This includes the Super Hall (Hall N3), which will include big companies like China Mobile, China Telecom, and ZTE. The Super Hall will also feature innovations in 5G, which GSMA claims will disrupt the mobile ecosystem and redefine society. Familiar PC brand Lenovo will also be showcasing its products in the Future Ecosystem Hall (Hall N4).
