According to sources, Apple is expected to launch a new MacBook Pro this year with the mini-LED display from the new 12.9-inch iPad Pro. Due to the ongoing outbreaks of COVID-19, the new laptop might come on schedule but in limited quantities.
The reason that causes limited quantities is that the factories by Foxconn and Wistron located in India are supplying the mini-LED panels. If you haven't read the news, India is experiencing a terrible outbreak and has already affected the supply of a mini-LED panel for the 12.9-inch iPad Pro.
