If you're an Apple user and have natural shaky hands, you'll be glad to know that Machines Sdn Bhd has officially launched a device protection plan for customers in Malaysia today. Simply called the Machines Protection Plan (MPP), this plan provides protection from accidental damage such as cracked screens and water damage for as low as 42 sen per day. Well, according to them, that is.
Depending on the Apple model, the MPP ranges from RM299 - RM899 during the two (2) year coverage period and allows the user to enjoy one (1) screen replacement or one (1) full device replacement. It can be obtained at any local Machines stores upon a new purchase. Of course, none of this was possible if it wasn't for Aon Insurance Brokers (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, which was chosen by Machines as its official insurance broker for the protection plan, underwritten by AIG Malaysia Insurance Berhad.
