As we prepare to catch up on the next Apple Event this week, Google made its move by announcing the next Made by Google event. The schedule is 6 October 2022 at 10 AM ET, which is going to be at 10 PM on the same day for Malaysia's time zone.

If you take a look at Google's social media announcement, you can see some devices that are probably going to make their appearance. One of them is the Pixel 7 series with the Google Pixel 7 and Google Pixel 7 Pro. To recap the event from the Google I/O keynote in May, the upcoming flagship will come with Android 13 OS and a new Tensor chipset for sure, empowering personalization features for mobile photography, video, security and voice recognition.

While there are no official specifications, previous leaks have suggested that the Pixel 7 series could use an 11MP front camera with a Samsung 3J1 sensor. Then for the rear cameras, it could also feature the same primary Samsung GN1 and Sony IMX381 ultrawide angle sensor. The telephoto on the Pixel 7 Pro may switch to a Samsung GM1 sensor.

Besides the Pixel 7 Series, the Pixel Watch and the Pixel Buds have been teased as well. The Pixel Watch is the first smartwatch announced by Google back in a few months ago with WearOS out of the box. It has been redesigned to be compatible with every Pixel and Android device, including the Pixel Buds series.

As usual, we don't think any of the Pixel devices would come to Malaysia since Google Malaysia has never done so for the past few years. But still, it would be great. Stay tuned for more of our official news coverage then, only at TechNave.com.
