These days mobile games have become a big thing. There's a variety of games available at our fingertips these days, but good trading card games are still quite rare. Thankfully, Android users who are fans of the genre now get access to a new mobile card game that's based on a classic series.

Recently, Wizards of the Coast officially published Magic: The Gathering Arena on the Google Play Store. The game has also been available on iOS since last year but was first launched for PCs in 2018. For those who are unaware, this is basically the digital version of the classic Magic: The Gathering card game.

As typical for digital card games, Magic: The Gathering Arena comes with multiple game modes. There are ranked seasons, AI PvP, Draft and Brawl modes, as well as a tutorial mode to get newbies started. If you have an existing account on PC, you can even link that to the mobile app. Unlike the physical card game, this one is free-to-play too!

Of course, the publisher monetises the game via in-game microtransactions, so avoid it if that's not your thing. With that said, would you be interested in trying out the game?
