As we approach the release date for Nothing Phone 2, you can expect the new phone to launch with the Nothing OS 2.0 on top of the Android 13. That said, what can you expect in the very first update for this phone?
Firstly, you will get 3 years of Android updates. Hence, you can upgrade it until Android 16. This model will also get 4 years of security patches. In addition, it could receive several new features, including major updates for the camera.
According to GSM Arena, the Nothing Phone 2 could receive 2x zoom for the portrait mode, motion capture support for the 50MP camera and a Nothing-style photo watermark. It could also feature optimised photo clarity while shooting between 4x and 10x zoom, improved camera quality in third-party apps, etc.
In addition, Nothing’s Glyph Composer app is now available on the Google Play Store. This app helps you create and record personalised Glyph ringtones. Also, you can add widgets to your lock screen and activate the Always-On display, a feature exclusive to Nothing OS 2.0. Last but not least, it will receive a few new wallpapers and a one-handed mode for a more comfortable user experience.
