Enrich, the travel and lifestyle loyalty programme by Malaysia Airlines, has announced a major refresh to its programme structure, set to take effect on 1 January 2026. The update introduces a new way for members to earn Enrich Points and Elite Points, alongside revised Elite Status requirements and added tier benefits, ensuring travellers are rewarded more meaningfully for their loyalty.

Higher Points, Bigger Rewards

Starting in 2026, members will enjoy higher Enrich Points earning rates across all Elite tiers. Platinum members will now earn 2.5 Enrich Points per RM1 spent on Malaysia Airlines and Firefly flights, Gold members will earn 2.2 Enrich Points per RM1, while Silver members will receive 1.8 Enrich Points per RM1. This adjustment ensures that frequent flyers and premium travellers are rewarded faster, with every ringgit spent contributing more significantly toward future redemptions.

Faster Progression to Elite Status

In addition to the higher points accrual, members will also earn more Elite Points when flying with Malaysia Airlines, Firefly, or oneworld member airlines, particularly in Business Suite and Business Class. These revised Elite Point structures make it easier for loyal members to progress toward higher status tiers, while recognising and rewarding premium travel experiences more fairly.

Revised Tier Requirements and Earning Options

The updated Elite Status requirements have been recalibrated to reflect evolving travel behaviours and expanded earning opportunities. Members can continue earning Elite Points through Points + Cash redemptions, seat upgrades, and even bookings through Enrich Hotels.

For Malaysian citizens and residents, the AmBank Enrich Visa Credit Card offers a fast-track pathway to maintaining or upgrading Elite Status. It is an added incentive for those who integrate Enrich into their everyday spending.

Enhanced Benefits for Silver Tier

The refresh also introduces new benefits for Silver tier members, including a 10kg extra baggage allowance and priority baggage handling. These additions bring extra convenience to frequent travellers, ensuring every journey feels elevated, regardless of tier.

A Commitment to Evolving Traveller Needs

Philip See, Chief Executive Officer of Loyalty and Travel Services, Malaysia Aviation Group, said the revamp reinforces Enrich’s focus on rewarding loyalty through tangible benefits and a modernised experience.

“The refreshed structure delivers greater value through enhanced Enrich Points earning, enabling bigger and faster rewards. Elite Points accrual on Malaysia Airlines and oneworld member airlines flights, particularly in Business Class and Business Suite, has been revised to fairly recognise premium travel. Updated Elite Status requirements ensure the programme rewards evolving travel behaviours and engagement, reflecting members’ journeys and lifestyle aspirations.”
