Malaysia has the third best fixed broadband in Southeast Asia

Based on a study done by speedtest.net, Malaysia is currently in 3rd place when it comes to the national average download speed with Thailand and Singapore coming in at 2nd and 1st place respectively. To go into more detail, Malaysia’s download speed averaged around 90.88Mbps while upload speed is somewhere around the ballpark of 50Mbps in H2 2020.

But that’s not all, Malaysia is also 4th in Southeast Asia when it comes to mobile download speeds as the national average is around 24.53Mbps which is slightly behind Vietnam, Thailand, and Singapore with speeds of 33.14Mbps, 40.54Mbps, and 68.86Mbps respectively.
