YB Gobind Singh, Minister of Communications and Multimedia, Malaysia recently announced that the 5G Testbed area will be expanded to 5 other Malaysian states outside from the original Cyberjaya and Putrajaya. These 5 states will include Kedah, KL, Perak, Selangor and Terengganu but there's no exact Malaysia dates when this might happen or when we'll see commercial 5G networks roll-out.

In related news, the National 5G Task Force has come up with up to 66 possible use cases of 5G with an estimated total industry investment of RM50 million. They've also assured that 5G networks are safe for health and will move onto being the 5G Implementation Task Force later in 2019. Stay tuned to TechNave.com for all your tech news.
