Apple has reportedly begun hiring employees for its first-ever Apple Store in Malaysia. This is according to reliable tipster Mark Gurman who said that the tech giant was spotted publishing job listing on its websites for locations in our country.

Writing in his Bloomberg column, Gurman revealed that among the job openings are store managers, technical specialists and support staff, salespeople for businesses, and operations experts. Furthermore, the listings indicate that the positions will be for Apple’s own retail stores and not third-party resellers that have long operated in our country.

Apple already has official stores in Southeast Asia, including in our neighbouring countries Thailand and Singapore. It is unclear where the first Malaysian Apple Store will be, but it will likely be located in Kuala Lumpur.
