By now, you should have spotted a new 'Verified' status on your MySejahtera app account whenever entering a premise. This doesn't mean you're some sort of celebrity or influencer, as what social media accounts depict, but rather because your account is legitimate or not.

Posted not too long ago by the Ministry of Health of Malaysia on its Facebook account, a verified account is said to ensure the features in MySejahtera are fully utilised. To put it simply, this means it allows you to show your vaccination certificate and so forth. If you can't see your vaccination certificate, that's because you haven't verified your account.

To verify your account, you just have to press the "Verify Now" button when you see it and follow the steps. This new feature may seem unnecessary at first, but this is important for those who are planning to travel overseas. As you should know, 1 April 2022 is when people can travel in and out of Malaysia and foreigners flying in will have to use the MySejahtera app.

So that's pretty much it. Stay safe everyone and stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
