As we’ve reported previously, vivo will be launching the highly-anticipated vivo V40 series 5G in Malaysia this 22 August. However, you don’t have to wait long to experience the new devices for yourselves as vivo is giving Malaysian an exclusive sneak peek at preview events in Kuala Lumpur, Penang and Johor on Saturday (17 August).

In a press release, vivo invites Malaysians to get a first-hand look at the vivo V40 series and indulge in sweet treats at the exclusive preview event on 17 August at Pavilion Bukit Jalil. Collaborating with Little Habits, this exciting event invites you to experience the vivo V40 and V40 Pro, both equipped with next-gen ZEISS Multifocal lens technology, in contrast to the Chinese market.

Available in 2 colour variants, Nebula Purple and Stellar Silver, the V40 series truly shines with its innovative ZEISS Multifocal Portrait feature. By incorporating professional portrait focal lengths into a smartphone, users can effortlessly capture stunning portraits from various perspectives. The V40 Pro offers a wider range of focal lengths (24 mm, 35 mm, 50 mm, 85 mm, and 100 mm), while the V40 provides 24 mm, 35 mm, and 50 mm options.

At the heart of the V40 series is its camera system, with both the V40 and V40 Pro equipped with a 50 MP ZEISS OIS Main Camera, capturing stunning details even in low-light conditions. The V40 Pro takes it a step further with the advanced Sony IMX921 sensor, while the V40 utilises the Samsung ISOCELL GNJ Sensor. Both models feature an f/1.88 aperture and Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS) to ensure exceptional image quality.
