Grab Malaysia today announced the launch of Grab Intercity, a new service that allows users to purchase bus and ferry tickets via the Grab app. The service has over 15,000 routes to purchase tickets for, including direct bus routes to Singapore.

In a statement today, Grab says that this new Intercity feature was made in collaboration with Splyt and Easybook. Both services have been adapted onto the Grab platform, hence users can just pay for the tickets with GrabPay and earn GrabRewards in just a few clicks.

Grab further asserted that users can even purchase bus tickets to over 30 destinations in Singapore from 11 different states across Malaysia. Hence, the company said that the service can help minimise congestion on highways, ticket concessions, and even borders, especially during peak travel periods.

Routes between Malaysia and Singapore on Grab Intercity will be available for booking and purchase starting today, just in time for those planning their holidays for Hari Raya Aidiladha. Moreover, in conjunction with the recent launch and expansion, users will receive a 10% discount on all tickets booked through the service.
