For your information, for this purpose, the National Registration Department will conduct pre-registration for Malaysians when they reach the age of 12. In addition, automatic registration will also be conducted when replacing MyKad. That includes when MyKad is lost.
MyDigital ID is the government's move to introduce a single identity method for various government services, including some private services. Services such as LHDN and TNB have begun to integrate MyDigital ID support. To date, 1.8 million Malaysians have registered to use MyDigital ID.
