If there's one game series from EA that many would remember fondly, it would have to be the Mass Effect series. But while fans were thrilled to hear of the rumour that the Mass Effect Trilogy would be getting a remaster, some were sceptical of on whether it's real. However, a new rumour now claims that the remaster is very real indeed and would be released within this year.
According to Wccftech (via Game Reactor), a remaster of the Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3 is in development. It's expected to be launched in Fall (September to November) 2020 and will replace the major release slot that EA has every year. Since there's no new Battlefield or Star Wars Battlefront title scheduled for launch this year, there's enough reason to believe this to be the case.
It so happens that EA Play will be held on 18 June 2020 at 4 PM Pacific time (19 June, 7 AM MYT), so we'll find out whether the rumours are true then. Having said that, are you excited for a remaster of the Mass Effect Trilogy? What improvements would you like to see in the remaster?
