Maxis today announced that Maxis Home Solar will be offered throughout Peninsular Malaysia starting this May. Previously, Maxis Home Solar was only offered in the Klang Valley after being launched in February. Through it, customers can install solar panels at home to reduce their monthly electricity bills. So, what should you know about it?
For your information, under Maxis Home Solar, savings of up to 25% on monthly electricity bills can be enjoyed, with customers also being registered under NEM (Net Energy Metering), where excess energy generated can be exported to the TNB grid, thus reducing monthly electricity charges. Maxis Home Solar offers six packages with fees ranging from RM310 per month to RM720 per month, depending on the size of the house.
Additionally, this provides savings on monthly electricity bills ranging from RM100 to RM28,0, depending on the size of the solar panel used. The monthly fee includes the solar panel subscription, inverter, installation, maintenance and proactive monitoring from Maxis. The service is currently only offered to homeowners with a minimum monthly electricity bill of RM200 and a roof with good sun exposure.
Moreover, each customer will also receive a 10-year warranty and technical assistance from Maxis Home Solar, including issues with power outages and equipment damage, including those caused by rodent bites. For more information about Maxis Home Solar, please visit their official website today.
