Today, Maxis announced new data pool upgrades for its Maxis Postpaid and Hotlink Postpaid plans. The Hotlink Postpaid 45, 60, and 70 plans, as well as the Maxis Postpaid 79 plan, now come with increased data quotas. Meanwhile, the Maxis Postpaid 109, 139, 169, and 199 plans now feature unlimited data.
The upgrade is now happening as we speak, starting from 9 October to 5 November 2024 for all existing Maxis and Hotlink Postpaid customers. As you can see in the table below, the biggest data upgrade would be Hotlink Postpaid 70, from 70GB (4G/5G) + 70GB (5G) to 150GB (4G/5G) + 150GB (5G). The Maxis Postpaid 79 has a good upgrade to 300GB (4G/5G) as well.

All Maxis data allocation upgrades are offered on a promotional basis until 16 January 2025. Also, the Maxis Postpaid 109, 139, 169, and 199 are subject to Maxis FUP (Fair Usage Policy). More details including terms and conditions are available here and here, respectively.
