Well, apparently it is true as Maxis has recently announced that they will officially be offering new Maxis Fibre Subscription plans for Home and Business customers, with speeds of up to 800Mbps with prices starting from as low as RM129 a month.
For home users, on top of the existing 30Mbps and 100Mbps plans for both Home Fibre and Business Fibre, Maxis is now offering speeds of 300Mbps, 500Mbps as well as 800Mbps along with 2 free mesh WiFi devices worth RM300 each. It seems that Maxis' Business Fibre is one of the most affordable business oriented internet line in Malaysia, which is currently priced at RM349 for 800Mbps.
The aim of the mesh WiFi device is to improve the WiFi strength and coverage of the household, to ensure that the customers will be able to enjoy the fast internet no matter which part of the household or office they are in.
