
Maxis today introduced Miya (Maxis Intelligence, Your Assistant), a conversation-based in-app assistant powered by generative AI (Gen AI). So, what should you know about it?
An assistant to streamline your app features
According to Maxis, Miya was developed using the Customer Engagement Suite from Google Cloud, which combines turnkey solutions and the Gemini model based on real data. Through the Miya chat window, users can access various important functions such as:
- Bill Management - Review bills, set up direct debits and analyse usage patterns.
- Roaming - Receive personalised roaming pass recommendations and schedule them in advance.
- Contract Review - Easily review contract details.
Apart from assisting with account management, Miya also functions as a smart guide to Maxis products and services, helping users understand postpaid plans, explore new devices and get general guidance.
Miya is currently being introduced in stages to users of the latest version of the Maxis app, which features a brighter design and simpler layout for easier navigation. You can download the latest version of the Maxis app via the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
