Today, MediaTek is proud to present a new Dimensity 9000+ chipset. As a new 5G flagship phone chipset, it's the company's fastest one yet and claimed to have a boost in performance over the Dimensity 9000 to become even more powerful and efficient.

For starters, the Dimensity 9000+ is made in 4nm-class and has a higher clocked Arm Cortex-X CPU and Arm Mali-G710 MC120 GPU. At its core, one Arm Cortex-X2 is clocked at 3.2GHz, whereas three other Arm Cortex-A710 are up to 2.85GHz. Its LPDDR5X is also up to 7500Mbps which is 20% more power-efficient.

As a 5th generation chipset, MediaTek emphasised a lot on mobile gaming with the Dimensity 9000+. Such features include AI-enhanced variable-rate shading technology, Raytracing development tools for game developers, Hybrid AI-GPU Super-Resolution for Android, mobile gaming, low latency and a WiFi/Bluetooth hybrid connection. Besides that, the chipset was designed to handle photo-taking with up to 320MP, 4K HDR video recording and more.

Of course, the Dimensity 9000+ also supports 5G connectivity. MediaTek said that it has the latest 3CC Carrier Aggregation (300MHz) support. This allows a fast download speed of up to 7GBps as well as supports a new dual SIM 4G/5G slot. Other notable features include 144Hz WQHD+ or 180Hz FHD+ display, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3 support, and many others.
