A while back, some renders for the realme Narzo 50A were leaked online. The leak didn't reveal much but did show that the phone will feature a triple-camera setup in a square camera module. Now, the company has come out to confirm some other specs for the device.

realme India and Europe's CMO Francis Wong has confirmed that the realme Narzo 50A will be equipped with a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. This chipset comes with 2x Cortex-A75 CPU cores clocked at 2GHz and 6x Cortex-A55 CPU cores clocked at 1.8GHz. As for the GPU, it's a Mali G52 MC2 GPU clocked at 1GHz. It performs quite well for a mid-range chipset, which is why you see it in so many devices.

If you compare this to the realme Narzo 30A released back in February 2021, you'll notice that it's similar. It has the same chipset and back design, so the Narzo 50A may be only a marginal improvement over the former. In that case, it should have at least 4GB of RAM, 64GB of storage, and a 6000mAh battery. We can also expect a 6.5-inch 720p display.

There's no exact launch date for the realme Narzo 50A. But we're expecting it to retail for around RM500-600, which would make it quite affordable considering the specs. What do you think, does it have enough improvements to justify upgrading into? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more updates about this.
