MediaTek is touted to be working on its next-generation flagship mobile processor, the Dimensity 9300. Moreover, the SoC will reportedly rival Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Shared by reliable tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the upcoming flagship processor by MediaTek will be built on TMSC’s N4p process. Besides that, the SoC will be jointly built by vivo and would be a 5G chip.
Hence, the processor is expected to make its way into vivo flagship smartphones first. Rumours claim that the first device to feature Dimensity 9300 would be the vivo X100.
Digital Chat Station claimed that compared to the current MediaTek flagship SoC, performance is increased by 11 per cent and would be more efficient.
