MediaTek has launched two new 5G chipsets today, the Dimensity 920 and Dimensity 810. Both of them are mid-rangers based on the 6nm process and are ready to compete with what's available in the market. Without further ado, let's check out the key tech specs and features brought by these two new MediaTek's offerings.

The Dimensity 920 is an octa-core CPU that includes an Arm Cortex-A78 core with a main frequency of 2.5GHz. It supports LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 flash storage. For display, it can dynamically increase the refresh rate to enhance the user's interactive experience. The other way around, it can also reduce the refresh rate when needed to improve power efficiency. There are also other features such as hardware-level 4K HDR video shooting engine, dual-SIM 5G standby, WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, and MediaTek HyperEngine 3.0 game engine.

On the other hand, the Dimensity 810 is also an octa-core CPU that uses the Arm Cortex-A76 core clocked at 2.4GHz. The chip supports a Full HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. When it comes to photography, it has advanced noise reduction technologies (MFNR and MCTF) and can achieve excellent imaging effects in low light environments. There are other advanced camera functions as well, like AI depth of field enhancement and AI colour. For gaming, it comes with the MediaTek HyperEngine 2.0 game engine.

Earlier, it was rumoured that OPPO could be the first device to use the Dimensity 810 chipset. Are you excited about the arrival of smarthpones with these new MediaTek chipsets? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for the latest tech report.
