MediaTek has just announced the release date of its next-gen flagship mobile processor, though it’s rather coy about naming the SoC outright. Well, it’s expected to be the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC, so read on to learn more. 

Taking to its official Weibo account, MediaTek confirmed the release of the SoC on 9 October in China at 10.30am local time. Furthermore, the company is touting the SoC as an “AI Chip Leap”, which alludes to it powering various AI features.
