MediaTek is set to unveil its most powerful mobile processor yet, the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 during an upcoming event on 8 November 2022. The successor to the Dimensity 9000, the Dimensity 9200 is the Taiwanese company’s next-gen flagship SoC.

According to tech insider Abhishek Yadav who shared his press invite to the event on Twitter, the event will be held on the aforementioned date at 2.30 pm Taiwanese time. While nothing official has been revealed regarding the new SoC just yet, many tipsters are claiming that the Dimensity 9200 will be sharing a similar architecture with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. According to alleged leaks by reliable tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the chipset showed an impressive benchmarking score on AnTuTu.

The benchmark also showed that the chipset will feature one Cortex-X3 prime core, three Cortex-A715 mid-cores, and four Cortex-A510 cores alongside a new Mali Immortalis G-715 MC11 GPU. Of course, do take this information with a grain of salt as MediaTek has yet to confirm anything regarding the Dimensity 9200 just yet.
