If you frequently use Google Meet for your meetings, this update might please you. Recently, Google announced a new On-the-Go mode for Google Meet. That said, what should you know about it?
For your information, the new update will make your Google Meet experience more streamlined and safe. For example, if you are in a moving vehicle when you join a meeting, the app will turn the interface to a more convenient layout.
Once activated, you will see a 3-2-1 countdown. If you are not ready, you can cancel it with the “Not now” button. The mode will start automatically once the timer reaches “0”. You can also revert back to default with the regular mode.

In addition, you won’t see the video feed, you’ll only see your profile picture and a show presentation button right below it. Plus, there’s a huge Mute button with a Raise hand, Audio on/off, and Exit call button. Notably, the app will also restrict your bandwidth. That will help you save more data.
Currently, Google is rolling out this feature. So, you can expect this addition on your app soon. If you are looking forward to this feature, you might want to keep your app updated at all times.
