Wow this is exciting! The last time that we heard about Mega Man (or Rockman in other parts of the region) was back in 2004 and it's making a comeback! According to sources, Capcom Taiwan has recently announced a new mobile game called Rockman x DiVE.
From the video, it's definitely sticking back as a 2D scroller action RPG and it's currently in development for iOS and Android platform. Besides Mega Man, another popular character, Zero will also make an appearance and we certainly hope that other Mavericks will be there as well for old times sake. This was hinted heavily on its official webpage, where it reads:
"Deep Log" appears abnormal for unknown reasons All stages, Mavericks, all the characters from "Mega Man X Series" are all mixed up because of game errors."
Oh my, sounds like a Royal Rumble match for every villain that appeared over the years. Such exciting times.
