Meizu tried to venture into Malaysia a few years ago, but the lack of marketing meant it was quickly pushed out of the market by more aggressive competitors. Still, the company had no problems thriving in China and has been teasing its new flagship device for a while now. The upcoming Meizu 17 is expected to be released on 8 May 2020 and it's going to have some impressive specs.

According to GSMArena, Meizu has confirmed that its Meizu 17 device will come with a 4500mAh battery and supports 30W fast-charging through its mCharge technology. Also, we know that it's expected to come with a Snapdragon 865 chipset, a display with 90Hz refresh rate, and the much faster UFS 3.1 storage.

In terms of features, there will be a quad-cam setup at the back and a single punch-hole camera in front. If you look at image teaser, there's an unidentified component in the middle of the four cameras too, though we have no idea what it does. It's also believed that the device will be using an in-display fingerprint sensor.

Considering the way Meizu has been dropping its teasers almost daily, we can probably expect to see more reveals in the days leading up to the official launch.
