Today, Meizu unveiled a new phone here in Malaysia. Dubbed the Meizu 21, it comes in two memory variants - 256GB and 512GB of storage at the price of RM2999 and RM3299, respectively. For a limited time, purchases made by 5 April will be entitled to exclusive first-sale gifts comprising Meizu Pandaer gaming earphones and an additional 12-month warranty.
In terms of tech specs, the Meizu 21 is equipped with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, 12GB of RAM, a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with 1.74mm arrow bezels, as well as supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and 1800nits peak brightness. In addition, the phone also features a 20MP primary camera that's co-optimised with Samsung's imaging algorithm.
The Meizu 21 also features an "Aicy Dynamic Ring" which is a multi-functional interactive ring light system. As an extension of the Aicy Intelligent Assistant, the Aicy Dynamic Ring flashes different colours for notifications, incoming calls, charging, volume adjustment and even games. Also, it lets users interact with dynamic lighting effects.
For instance, it can respond to commands like "I want to see a rainbow" or "I want to see fireworks" with corresponding colours. Its lighting effects also correspond to the current weather when asked. Meizu believes this feature represents a new era in AI technology, offering a unique way for users to interact with AI.
Other notable features include a mEngine Ultra linear motor that offers over 500 customised vibration experiences for the system. On top of that, the Meizu 21 has a large VC liquid cooling plate for its Glacial Nexus cooling technology to ensure an enjoyable mobile gaming experience.
The Meizu 21 is available in Infinity Black, Meizu White and Dynamic Purple. It can be purchased at Meizu Malaysia's official Shopee and Lazada Stores, as well as select authorised retail partners.
