So it's official, the previously leaked date for the Meizu MX6 is not 16 July but 19 July 2016 instead. Meizu will first hold a press conference and then unveil the smartphone and other products which are not named. We also got two supposedly real photos of how it would look like, thanks to Weibo.
The MX6 is said to be sporting a Helio X20 processor, 4GB RAM, 32GB or 64GB of internal storage, a 5.5-inch FHD IPS display, a 12MP camera for the back and 5MP camera on the front. Nobody knows what other products besides the MX6 we will be seeing, sources speculated that it could be earphones, headphones or a new fast charging equipped powerbank; but it's possible that there could be another MX6 variant that is running on Ubuntu OS. Also, it was mentioned that Meizu CEO didn't like how similar the MX6 look with the Meizu Pro 6, the Pro 6's display is 5.2-inch only.
Marketed as a mid-range smartphone, it might be priced in between $290 - $320 (around RM1155 - RM1275). We're just a week away from that so stay tuned for more news at Technave.com.
