Straight from China, the new Meizu m3, the company’s answer to affordable smartphones has arrived. The new model looks physically the same as the previous model, with significant changes under its skin. It now sports a MediaTek MT6750 1.5GHz octa-core processor paired with either 2GB or 3GB of RAM.
It also comes with a 2870mAh battery, along with either 16GB or 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded with a microSD, supporting cards of up to 128GB. It features a 5 inch 720p display, a 13 megapixel rear and 5 megapixel front camera, LTE connectivity and Meizu’s own Flyme 5.1 OS, based on Android Lollipop.

Meizu has yet to announce the availability or the price of the m3 in Malaysia, but it is priced from only 599 yuan, which is about RM 360. We may see the price increase a bit due to import charges, but we may see yet another contender for affordable smartphones here in Malaysia.
