Meizu showcased their first smartphone with no physical buttons and ports

The Meizu Zero smartphone has been unveiled, showcasing a smartphone with no physical buttons and slots equipped. To explain further, the device will not have physical volume buttons and charging slots. Instead, the volume will be controlled through the capacitive buttons on the side. Charging wise, it can only be charged exclusively via 12W Wireless Charger.

The device also does not have a physical SIM tray, as it uses the new eSIM standard. In terms of the tech specs, the device is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, 12MP + 20MP rear camera, 20MP front-facing selfie camera and a 5.99-inch AMOLED display. Meizu has yet to unveil the specs of the RAM, storage and battery for now. We expect them to release more information regarding the device very soon.

Unfortunately, Meizu smartphones will most likely not enter the Malaysian market anytime soon. That being said, the closest smartphone that resembles the Meizu Zero would be the Vivo Apex 2019, which we have covered previously, that sports similar features such as no physical buttons and ports.
