Melaka Govt plans to develop an AI-equipped Smart Heritage Tourism app for tourists

The Melaka State Government has revealed plans to develop an AI-equipped Smart Heritage Tourism app which would add value to the tourist experience at tourist locations in the state. Moreover, the app will contain information and attractive offers for the state’s tourism sector.

According to Bernama, Melaka State Tourism, Heritage, Arts and Culture Exco Datuk Abdul Razak Abdul Rahman said that the AI features would include ChatBot functions in text and voice. This will make it easier for tourists to obtain information.

Abdul Razak added that the app would also sport virtual reality (VR) or augmented reality (AR) elements. He also said that the app would be used as a component and integrated into the Melaka Super App.
