Meta AI was introduced in 2023 and as of today, it has not yet arrived in all countries. However, Meta has promised that their artificial intelligence technology will be accessible to all users in stages. Most recently, Meta AI has been activated in 41 more countries. This week, 41 countries that have received access to Meta AI are European countries. Meta is proud that this feature has been successfully offered after months of being stuck in a complicated approval process due to complex EU laws. Meta AI in the EU will support 6 languages that can be accessed on Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Messenger.
Because Meta AI does not have its own app, in any Meta platform messaging space – this AI can be invoked with @MetaAI. Meta AI will also appear in the form of a FAB (floating action button) on WhatsApp. For Ray-Ban Meta sunglasses users, Meta AI support may be available. At this time, Meta has not yet announced the presence of Meta AI in Malaysia although they have confirmed that it will arrive in October 2024.
